%A Thach, Nguyen Ngoc %A Nhung, Le Phuong %A Thanh, Bui Quang %A Anh, Tran Tuan %D 2018 %T Evaluating the Natural Conditions for Developing the Rubber Plant in Muong La District, Son La Province by Using Remote Sensing and GIS %K %X With the goal of the study is to evaluate the natural conditions in order to determine the scientific basis for development rubber plant in the land use planning,contributing to exploiting the natural potentials in service of the socio-economic development strategy and environmental protection. The research was implemented on the basis of integrated GIS, remote sensing and hierarchical analysis method in AHP. Five factors affecting ecological rubber tree (Elevation, soil, climate, temperatures, land cover and frost-low) are processed into corresponding evaluated maps, then, proceed to determine weight of influence factors by the method of AHP. The resultmap show areas of varying suitability for rubber trees as follow: regions with high suitable levels has the 12.6% area, the moderated suitable has the proportion of 24.6% and less adapted areas with 22% proportion, non-adaptive region: 40.8%. Based on adaptive map, usefulinformations can be extracted to build projects of territorial planning and environmental planning, facilitate the development of jobs for the life of the people in the district and obtained great economic benefits for the development of Muong La district, Son La province.
