Abstract

This research analyses the factors affecting an organisation/business’s expectations of human resources in entertainment and event management in some Red River Delta-based cities and provinces. The research results show that “professional knowledge” has the biggest impact on the expectations of organisations/businesses. It is followed by “attitude”, “skill” and “ability”. The factor having the least influence is “fundamental knowledge”. The research then proposes some recommendations for education institutions when developing a training curriculum for entertainment and event management human resources as well as students who are studying and planning to take this major so that they will be able to meet demands, expectations of organisations/businesses.
