Abstract

In this article, the author mentions a question about the importance of the text in teaching foreign languages, the different kinds of the texts and the different ways of teaching and studying these texts in foreign language classrooms.

The text chosen to teach in the class should be stardard both the content and the form. The text should contain its content, thought, art with high education.

They are so interesting and attracting that the students can read them easily. The are also current events.

According to characteristics of the text, the author would like to present some techniques which are used to help the students to overcome the difficulties in foreign language comprehension and how to grasp the content of the text and form the reading skills in foreign language on cross-culture linguistics.
