Abstract

The article attempts to redefine the value of Confucianism in the development of the
concept of the law in Vietnam. As a set of ethical rules governing the behaviors of people, Confucianism substitute and supports the legal norms in keeping the society in order. Baaed on this research, the article raised six issues and proposal helping to bring the written law in Vietnam close to the interests of the Vietnamese people.
