Abstract

This study examines the current situation of applying teaching methods and its effectiveness of these methods at VNU School of Law. The research was carried out in 2020-2021 using quantitative method with questionnaires distributed to teachers and students at VNU School of Law. The two research questions were raised: 1) What are teaching methods applying at VNU School of Law? and 2) What are the effects of applying teaching methods at VNU School of Law? The data obtained in the study were analyzed by the software SPSS 20.0. The results of the analysis proved the effectiveness of applying teaching methods at VNU School of Law. Teachers have actively innovated teaching methods to ensure teaching goals and students have made great efforts, acquired knowledge, skills. As a result, students have enhanced the self-discipline, initiative and creative in the process of studying and researching. Based on the research findings, some recommendations are proposed to improve the efficiency of the innovative teaching methods at VNU School of Law.
