Global Regulations on Zero-Emission Vehicles and Lessons for Vietnam

Abstract
The environment in the Earth has become worse. To avoid catastrophic climate change, almost all advanced economies has committed to halve their greenhouse gas emission in international agreements such as Paris Agreement. To fulfill the commitments, the concrete step which the Governments take is to enact laws or policies on zero emission vehicles (ZEVs) to cut emission as quickly as possible. This study reviews the concept of zero emission vehicles, mandate of zero emission vehicles. Most importantly, the in-depth analysis shows some experience for Vietnam to enact the involving policy therefore protecting the domestic environment
