Research on the Criminal Liability of Legal Persons under Belgian Criminal Law

Abstract
This article focuses on examining and analyzing the criminal liability of legal persons under the law of Belgium from several perspectives: the legislative history of criminal law governing the criminal liability of legal persons; the scope and conditions for attributing criminal liability to legal persons; the system of penalties applicable to legal persons that commit criminal offences; and the specific procedural rules applicable to legal persons in criminal proceedings. At the same time, the article explores the factors that have led to the recognition and consolidation of the regime of criminal liability of legal persons in Belgium. Based on this analysis, the article draws conclusions and offers recommendations to further improve the regime of criminal liability of legal persons in Vietnamese law.
