Abstract

Hội chứng chuyển hóa (HCCH) đang là một vấn đề y tế cộng đồng được được quan tâm hiện nay do tác động xấu của nó đến sức khỏe. Mục tiêu của nghiên cứu là xác định tỷ lệ bị HCCH ở nhóm trẻ có tình trạng dinh dưỡng bình thường (bình thường) và ở nhóm trẻ béo phì, đồng thời xác định một số yếu tố nguy cơ dẫn đến HCCH ở trẻ. Nghiên cứu được tiến hành trên 547 trẻ 6-10 tuổi (304 trẻ béo phì và 243 trẻ bình thường) tại một số trường tiểu học Hà Nội, thành phố Thái Nguyên và thành phố Hải Dương. HCCH được xác định theo tiêu chuẩn của Hiệp hội Đái tháo đường Quốc tế (IDF).


Kết quả cho thấy: 1,6% trẻ nhóm bình thường (1% nam, 3% nữ) và 14% trẻ nhóm béo phì (12% nam, 19% nữ) bị HCCH. Tỷ lệ trẻ bị HCCH cao nhất ở Hà Nội (9,2%), tiếp đến là thành phố Thái nguyên (5,1%) và thấp nhất ở thành phố Hải Dương (2,7%). Trẻ bị HCCH chủ yếu là rối loạn HDL-C (72%) và rối loạn trigliceride (67%). 53% trẻ bình thường có chu vi vòng eo cao và 2% trẻ bình thường có huyết áp tối đa≥130 mmHg. Các yếu tố làm tăng nguy cơ HCCH là: tuổi (OR=1,4; P=0,026), tình trạng béo phì (OR=8,1; P<0,0001) và tỷ lệ TC/HDL-C (OR=3,4; P=0,003)
