Vietnam Business Associations' Strategy in Supporting Member Businesses for Post-Covid-19 Development

Abstract
To assess the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on Vietnamese businesses and to determine the strategy of Vietnamese business associations in supporting Vietnamese businesses to thrive after Covid-19, the authors have carried out an exploratory study to answer the questions: (1) How has the Covid-19 pandemic impacted on Vietnamese businesses? (2) What are the strengths and weaknesses of business associations in supporting member businesses? (3) What is the strategy for Vietnamese organizations in supporting member businesses to develop after Covid-19? Through the methods: Literature review, secondary data analysis, field observations, focus group discussion, cause-effect analysis and problem solving science ... the authors were able to describe the socio-economic context for the business development during the pandemic period, the impact of the pandemic on the development of Vietnamese businesses, the current status of business support activities of Vietnamese business associations, and recommend the strategy for Vietnamese business associations in supporting member businesses to develop after Covid-19 for the goal of sustainable development of the business community and the Vietnamese economy.
