Abstract

Vietnam has advantages in seafood export, and has many opportunities to promote seafood exports to the EU market since the EVFTA Agreement took effect. The research paper shows that Vietnam's seafood export turnover to the EU market in the years 2010-2021 has many fluctuations, in which in terms of export structure, the export turnover of shrimp and tuna products had good growth but the export turnover of pangasius decreased continuously. By studying the current situation of Vietnam's seafood exports to the EU, assessing the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and challenges of Vietnam when exporting seafood to this market, the paper proposes some solutions to continue promoting seafood exports in the context of the EVFTA implementation.
