Some Approaches Measuring Creativity in the World and in Vietnam
Main Article Content
Abstract
Creativity is the "key" to bringing the world to continuous development because creative thinking helps people discover and invent great works that change the world. In the digital age, people's creative thinking is more appreciated than ever. This article will present the definition of creativity according to four major approaches: process, person, products and press. Next, the research on measuring creativity will be reviewed on the basis of synthesizing studies in the world and in Vietnam. For each approach, the world's most commonly used creativity measures are introduced, the advantages and disadvantages of each approach and creativity measurement tools are discussed and analysed to guide the measurement of creativity in research and practice. Studies measuring creativity in the country are also compiled and evaluated according to these approaches to point out gaps that contribute to the direction of further studies.
