Main Article Content
Abstract
Water is an indispensable part of our environment. China is facing a serious water pollution situation. In order to reduce water pollution, China has implemented a wide range of policies to reduce and control water pollution. Vietnam is a country with remarkable similarities with China in terms of political institutions as well as economic development. Notably, two major river systems of Vietnam, the Red River and the Mekong River both originate from China and directly affect the water environment in Vietnam. Thus, the evaluation of China's water pollution control policies will provide helpful experiences and lessons to improve Vietnam’s policies and law on water pollution control.
