Abstract
Challenges in ensuring security and order in general, and in the Southwest region in particular, need to be identified, analyzed and thoroughly explained theoretically and practically in the current context. This article analyzes and explains the external and internal challenges that have been direct factors affecting political stability, security, social order and sustainable economic development for the Southwest region. Using the SWOT method (analysis of strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats), along with a multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary approach in security science, geo-politics, geo-economics and social sciences as a whole, the article clarifies the achievements, current situation and challenges posed to political stability, security, social order and sustainable development. At the same time, the article proposes strategic and breakthrough solutions to enhance the effectiveness of ensuring security and social order associated with rapid and sustainable socio-economic development in the Southwest region in the coming time.
