Challenges Posed in the Intellectual Property Protection Policy for Traditional Knowledge in the Creative Cultural Sector in Vietnam

Abstract

Traditional knowledge in the field of creative culture is the expression of folk culture and the cultural heritage of each country - the driving force for the development of cultural industries. With the development of science and technology, especially digital transformation, the study has identified the challenges posed to the protection of traditional knowledge in the field of creative culture, focusing on managing and exploiting the material values generated from traditional knowledge. Based on these challenges, the study proposes the establishment of an information management model for copyright protection and institutional improvements to address these issues.
