Applying the Technology Foresight in Science Research and Technology Development Activities in Vietnam

Abstract

Abstract: The technology foresight can be applied to such specific technical fields as nano technology, biotechnology, information and communication technology,… for short-term, medium-term or long-term periods. This article only focuses on the application of the technology foresight to predict the prospect of science research and technology development activities at different levels and on organization, field, sector and national scales. Based on the roadmap technique for technology commercialization and the obtained data, the prospect of a new technology development can be foreseen.
