Land Policies and Law for Indigenous Ethnic Minorities in Philippines and Cambodia: Situation and Recommendation for Viet Nam

Abstract

Land plays a very important role in agriculture production, especially to ethnic minorities located in mountainous and rural regions of Vietnam. Basing on the research on policies and laws regarding the right of land possession of local ethnic population in Cambodia and Philippines, this article gives some suggestions for improving Vietnam’s legal system on this issue.
