Abstract

Newspapers in general, and electronic newspapers in particular, play an indirect role as a "push" for the continuous development of Vietnamese tourism. During the COVID-19 pandemic recovery era, electronic newspapers are an important channel for the tourism industry to promote information and tourism services, as well as position the industry. How have electronic newspapers contributed to tourism promotion? From June 2022 to June 2023, a survey was conducted with 455 news articles from four electronic newspapers: Quang Ninh, Tien Phong, Lao Dong, and Thanh Nien, using the quantitative method of analyzing newspaper content with an analysis code table to answer the above research question within the scope of tourism promotion in Quang Ninh province. From the survey results, the authors initially identified the current situation and proposed solutions to improve the quality of advertising on electronic newspapers because Quang Ninh has such rich tourism resources, unique potential, and outstanding opportunities to develop all types of tourism, contributing to the overall growth of the tourism industry.
