Abstract

According to an applied university model, the educational market indicator set has been established and applied to university governance at Nguyen Tat Thanh University for the period of 2017-2021. This set of educational market indexes includes 17 indicators for 03 areas: education (06 indicators), scientific research (05 indicators), and community service (06 indicators). Research results have shown that applying this set of indicators helps evaluate the university's ranking, impact, competitiveness, and stakeholders' satisfaction with the university. In line with Nguyen Tat Thanh University's aim to transition towards an innovative university model in the coming period, this study proposes more market indicators for the higher education institution related to entrepreneurship, innovation, and sustainable development.
