Abstract
This article addresses the poet Che Lan Vien’s viewpoint of art which has been
manifested through his poems. His ideas about art reveals a man who has dedicated all
his life to the art career. This provides us a better understanding into his thingking
and helps to explain why we admire Che Lan Vien, the most prolific poet among those
who have writen about the theory of verse.
