Abstract
After presenting pre-favorable conditions for the development of American
Academic Library at the end of 19th century, the Article focuses on analyzing main
renovations leading to the successful results in serving effectively the educational
and training work in the United States.
The results mentioned above are valuable experiences that can be applied to
building a modern library system in Vietnam in order to meet the requirements of
modernization and industrialization.
